Not sure where to park these but since a single tree is the head item, I thought I could do it here. I've been planning this for a few weeks now, I really wanted to do something with four small canvasboards 10"x10" that I had reserved for something special. Well, here it is, my simple version of 'the four seasons'. Not by Vivaldi this time! I chose not to go for identical trees, nor for the same water and banking in the foreground, to make some contrast still. Can't say anything was easy, and also not too difficult either. I used inspiration from the internet yet put in enough variation myself to make it different from the original. Starting with spring at the left bottom, go clockwise and end with winter. Please enjoy!
Dear lightsnow, go for it my friend, Bob's techniques are VERY suitable for such project. Wishing you a lot of fun and inspiration with it!
Great work an very creative! Once the article section is done I'll start working on uploading original creations, then you'll have a better place to park these 😉
Looking forward to that Felix, thanks for visiting and cheering!
Beautifully bright voy! I particularly like the winter painting. They make a nice little set and it's instantly obvious what's happening here. So versatile, you could place them vertically starting with spring at the top.
Thank you TLP, this was becoming a far forgotten creation!
I placed them horizontally in my daughters' drawing studio, where I happend to have the perfect place (sizewise) for it.
Very happy you visited older work from me!!
Like a look into the past! Can you believe that a year ago you couldn't even upload non-BR paintings?
Hahahaha, yesss. What a breakthrough for the site AND many of us!!
Pity that not everyone loves/likes the non-BR's but they remain a great minority! Luckily enough!!

Funny enough, I've always wanted to make something like this with the 4 seasons. Great idea, well done!
